Our Impact
Production Equipment for Organic Farmers
To improve productivity and maintain the quality of organic coconut sugar, farmers received sap collection containers (pongkor), sieves, and traditional cooking pans. These tools help increase household production efficiency while supporting consistent product quality.
Occupational Accident Support
Financial assistance was provided to farmers and their families affected by work-related accidents, helping reduce economic burdens during recovery and reinforcing social protection within the cooperative.
Social & Cultural Development
Fairtrade Premiums supported local cultural events, harvest celebrations, community gatherings, and mutual cooperation (gotong royong), helping preserve local traditions while strengthening relationships among farming communities.
Religious & Community Programs
Premium funds also supported religious gatherings, holiday assistance, improvements to places of worship, and other community-based activities that strengthen social cohesion and community well-being.
Clean Water Initiative
During periods of drought, Fairtrade Premiums were used to provide clean water storage tanks for farming communities, improving access to clean water for both household needs and organic production activities.
Integrated Goat Farming
Selected farmer groups received goats, livestock management training, and ongoing technical support to diversify household income. Goat manure is returned to coconut farms as natural organic fertilizer, creating a circular farming system that supports regenerative agriculture.
Environmentally Responsible Wastewater Management
Wastewater drainage systems (SPAL) were constructed in organic coconut sugar production areas to improve sanitation, reduce environmental pollution, and promote cleaner processing practices within farming communities.
Growing Organic Cocoa
Together with the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia and KOPAN-SIKAP Cooperative, PT Mega Inovasi Organik supports 150 organic cocoa farmers in Nangapanda, Ende through the provision of superior seedlings, organic farming inputs, agricultural equipment, post-harvest facilities, and technical assistance.
Cultivating Better Livelihoods in Madura
Partnering with Yayasan ALIT (Arek Lintang Indonesia) to develop sustainable long pepper production while empowering local farming communities in Madura. Through technical training and post-harvest support, we help farmers improve product quality to meet international standards.
